A fast-paced reaction game: everyone sits in a circle, each with their own cup, plus one empty cup that gets passed around. At the same time, players roll a die or bounce a ball into their own cup; whoever manages it first passes their cup on. If the travelling cup catches up with you, you drink. Sounds chaotic on paper, feels completely intuitive after one round — and impossible to stop after that.
Thunderstruck
The drinking game built around a song: you play "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. The moment the word "Thunder" hits, the first person starts drinking — and doesn't stop until the word comes round again, at which point the next person in the circle takes over. Over the course of the whole song, the drinking works its way once around the group. A game where the DJ decides your fate.
Beer Darts
A seated game with soft throwing darts: two teams sit facing each other, each with a full, unopened can in front of them. Taking turns, you throw a soft dart at the opposing team's can. Hit the can and the opponent has to drink; puncture it outright and it gets finished immediately. With soft darts and no feet in the playing area, it stays harmless but still properly tense.
Roxanne
Another song-driven game: split the group into two teams and play "Roxanne" by The Police. One team drinks on every "Roxanne", the other on every "Red Light". Chandelier (Center of the Table)
A beer pong variant with a twist: around a full cup in the middle of the table sit the cups belonging to every player. Everyone throws balls at the same time — land one in your own cup and the neighbour to your left drinks, land one in the middle "chandelier" cup and everyone drinks. Throwing simultaneously guarantees glorious chaos.
The Silent Drinker
One rule, no set-up: one person starts inconspicuously, lifts their glass and takes a sip. Whoever notices has to follow suit — and the last person to catch on drinks double. The fun lies in starting it mid-conversation, without anyone clocking it.
Beer Mat Flipping
The pub skill test that hardly anyone thinks of as a drinking game: a stack of beer mats sits half over the edge of the table. You flick them up with the back of your hand and try to catch them in the air — first one, then two, then more. Miss your called number and you drink. A game that needs nothing but a few beer mats and gets hopeless fast the more you drink.
Vikings
